Stock Count

Inventory Stock is used to adjust the inventory balance discrepancy between the system quantity and physical quantity. The quantities recorded in the stock count transactions are the exact physical quantities you counted.

Please note the difference between the inventory adjustment and stock count.

Steps to record the stock count result:

  1. Open the Stock Count List: Application Menu - Inventory - Stock Count.
  2. Click the Create button to open the Stock Count screen.
  3. Select the products you need to include in this stock count by clicking the select icon next to the Product Code text box.
  4. Fill in the quantity for every product you selected.
  5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to create this stock count.
  6. Once the stock count is confirmed, you may optionally check the inventory balance to make sure the result is correct. Please refer to the inventory balance guide for help.
If the product in the stock count has been recorded in another stock count from within the last three days, system will prompt with an error message saying the product was counted. In this case, if you still want to proceed, you have to set the Overwrite Counted to Yes and click the Save button again.

Steps to record the stock count with color:

This option allows you to record the stock count result for all available colors for a particular product.
  1. Open the Stock Count List: Application Menu - Inventory - Stock Count.
  2. Click the Create (Count with Color) button to open the Product Selection screen.
  3. Locate one of the products you need to include in the stock count and click the Stock Count link at the right side to open the Stock Count screen.
  4. Fill in the quantity for every product.
  5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to create this stock count.
  6. Once the stock count is confirmed, you may optionally check the inventory balance to make sure the result is correct. Please refer to the inventory balance guide for help.
