Customer Management

Steps to create a new customer account:

  1. Open the Partner List: Application Menu - Trading Setup - Partner Setup - Partner List
  2. Click the Create button at the bottom of the page to open the Partner screen.
  3. In the Customer section, choose Yes for the Is Customer drop down list.
  4. Fill in the necessary information in the grey text box.
  5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to create this customer account.
  6. After the customer account is created, system will bring you to the Location screen, where you need to fill in the customer's contact/address information.
    Location Code and Name are used to identify this particular location. For customers without multiple contacts/addresses, you may wish to put its account code as the location code and the company name as the location name.
  7. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to create this customer location.

Steps to modify an existing customer account:

  1. Open the Partner List: Application Menu - Trading Setup - Partner Setup - Partner List
  2. Locate the customer you want to modify and click the Edit link at the right side to open the Partner screen.
  3. Make your modification and Click the Save button to confirm the changes.

Steps to modify an existing customer's contact/address:

  1. Open the Partner List: Application Menu - Trading Setup - Partner Setup - Partner List
  2. Locate the customer and click the Location link at the right side to open the customer location list.
  3. If you want to add an additional location, click the Create button at the bottom of the page.
    If you want to modify an existing location, locate the location line and click the Edit link at the right side to open the Location screen.
  4. Make your modification and Click the Save button to confirm the changes.
